Dionne Myers DIRECTOR OF THE RISE OF SHE, PROJECT Lead, Guide, Curator.
Welcome to this transformative project of exploring your inner seasons through art and movement! I am Dionne Moy a dedicated somatic movement facilitator, menstruation & menopause mentor, blood witch, senior yoga teacher, and Women's wellness therapist. I have trained with Red School as part of their leadership school and support woman through the teachings from Alexander Pope and Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer. My mission revolves around guiding and supporting women through the various transitions in life, from the sacred journey of menarche to the profound transformations of menopause and beyond.
In a society that often leaves modern women feeling disconnected from their bodies, I am passionate about dismantling these societal norms. It is my belief that contemporary living has led us to work against our feminine cycles, resulting in discomfort and pain. For far too long, women have been shunned and unsupported, victims of a patriarchal establishment that has let them down.
"As a practitioner deeply committed to empowering women, I aim to be a beacon of support and guidance on your personal journey. I am here to help you rediscover your inner power, to facilitate a profound reconnection with yourself, and to aid in the healing and transformation of your relationship with your body.
I firmly believe that this is a time of epic spiritual empowerment—a moment to heal, to love, and to feel supported. Let me be your companion on this journey, as together we navigate the intricate landscapes of your inner seasons. Through art, movement, and a holistic approach to well-being, we will unlock the potential for profound transformation and self-love.
Join me as we embark on this empowering adventure, embracing the beauty of every season in a woman's life. Together, let's rewrite the narrative and create a space where you can thrive, heal, and embrace the divine essence of your feminine journey."

At The Rise of SHE, we a committed to supporting women with the underlying challenges that we face in modern society and how we can overcome these challenges by cultivating (rather than hiding away) the qualities that lie at the heart of The Feminine Principle.
We would like to invite you to some new experiences, with like minded women. After-all it is each of our responsibilities to step out of the shame of mainstream ideals, to reclaim our birthright - feeling safe, free and alive in our bodies.
It happens with the support of wise mentors and a loving Rise of She community.
If you feel inspired to join us in the unravelling of patriarchy and the reclamation of
feminine wisdom, then I have an invitation for you.
In 2024, we will create a community (a red tent) to support women,
to learn new skills, express ourselves through movement and art.
"This week was full of loving feelings towards myself and my body and I feel much more connected to my femininity and sensuality.

Research
(Source Water aid May 2023- 2000 UK woman were asked about Menstruation in the workplace.)
Women menstruate at work. Period. However, a new WaterAid survey reveals that menstrual taboos still dominate the lives of working women across the UK:
A staggering 85% saying they experience stress or anxiety when managing their periods at work.
• Over 2 in 5 (43%) fear leakage through clothes, followed closely by painful periods (42%) and heavy bleeding (40%).
• Nearly 1 in 5 (17%) attribute it to not being able to take time off to deal with any menstrual problems.
• 1 in 10 (10%) cite unsupportive management as a contributing factor to their stress.
Despite being a normal and vital part of most women’s lives, nearly two thirds of respondents (63%) admitted to feeling embarrassed talking about their periods at work with nearly half – 48% - hiding their period products en route to the toilet at work, and 46% saying they have avoided light-coloured work outfits when on their period.
Almost a third (31%) of working women have had to use makeshift materials such as toilet paper or fabric to manage their periods at work.
Only 3% believe employers are doing enough to support people who menstruate to manage their periods at work
While 80% feel that they are held back to some extent by attitudes to periods in their workplace. From those surveyed, the top three actions employers felt their employer should take to help them manage their periods are:
- Free period products
- Flexible working
- Additional breaks
"I have completed Dionne womb wellness course, after many years of disassociation due to infertility and trauma during the finial mediation I realised that due to this work I have fallen in love with my womb again, I can now hear her whispers and roars! I will be forever grateful.
You are such a magical woman and healer."

“I felt called to say thank you for holding space and sharing your wisdom and teachings Dionne. As I entered the room with the other women all strangers, I knew it was going to be magical. It felt so sacred. The vulnerability and the support in tonight’s circle has touched my heart in so many ways.
I could feel my heart cracking open as we sat in council; to have my voice heard truly for the first time without judgement was so profound.”
