These tools will enable you to express and empower yourself and well as understand your inner seasons of your body and the transformation that you under go each and every cycle.

If you feel called to learn how to do this, then please read on…

feminine wisdom, then I have an invitation for you.

In SPRING 2024, we will create a community (a red tent) to support women,

to learn new skills, express ourselves through movement and art.

Have you experienced

a lack of worthiness, acceptance, belonging,

or safety, as a woman

in this world?

At The Rise of SHE, we a committed to supporting women with the underlying challenges that we face in modern society and how we can overcome these challenges by cultivating (rather than hiding away) the qualities that lie at the heart of The Feminine Principle.

We would like to invite you to some new experiences, with like minded women. After-all it is each of our responsibilities to step out of the shame of mainstream ideals, to reclaim our birthright - feeling safe, free and alive in our bodies.

This is entirely possible

It happens with the support of wise mentors and a loving Rise of She community.

Introducing...

Female empowerment & Inner Seasons through 'Art and Movement' Project

Dionne Myers DIRECTOR OF THE RISE OF SHE, PROJECT Lead, Guide, Curator.

Welcome to this transformative project of exploring your inner seasons through art and movement! I am Dionne Myers a dedicated somatic movement facilitator, menstruation & menopause mentor, blood witch, senior yoga teacher, and Women's wellness therapist. My mission revolves around guiding and supporting women through the various transitions in life, from the sacred journey of menarche to the profound transformations of menopause and beyond.

In a society that often leaves modern women feeling disconnected from their bodies, I am passionate about dismantling these societal norms. It is my belief that contemporary living has led us to work against our feminine cycles, resulting in discomfort and pain. For far too long, women have been shunned and unsupported, victims of a patriarchal establishment that has let them down.

"As a practitioner deeply committed to empowering women, I aim to be a beacon of support and guidance on your personal journey. I am here to help you rediscover your inner power, to facilitate a profound reconnection with yourself, and to aid in the healing and transformation of your relationship with your body.

I firmly believe that this is a time of epic spiritual empowerment—a moment to heal, to love, and to feel supported. Let me be your companion on this journey, as together we navigate the intricate landscapes of your inner seasons. Through art, movement, and a holistic approach to well-being, we will unlock the potential for profound transformation and self-love.

Join me as we embark on this empowering adventure, embracing the beauty of every season in a woman's life. Together, let's rewrite the narrative and create a space where you can thrive, heal, and embrace the divine essence of your feminine journey."

How it works...

Each season we will come together to explore our inner seasons. We will meet for our seasonal Workshops and explore our creative sides, lean more about our hormonal health and wellbeing, as well as learn a new creative skill through Art & Movement, across the seasons...

SPRING | Painting & Mixed-Media: Workshop 1

A workshop designed to express our hormonal cycles & emotions, through the magic and vibrancy of paint. In some cases we may explore using our very own hormonal bleed to paint with.

Janet Jackson, a retired teacher turned Certified Creatively Fit Coach, finds herself deeply engrossed in the world of artistry. Immersed in a variety of creative pursuits, Janet endeavors to explore the depths of artistic expression and provide solace from the daily grind.

Her repertoire spans across diverse mediums, with a particular affinity for mixed media art. Through intricate creations such as mandalas and affirmation pieces, Janet crafts immersive experiences where individuals can momentarily escape the burdens of everyday life and find solace in the creative process.

In addition to mixed media works, Janet channels her artistic energy into textile and knitted art. She finds joy in sculpting goddesses, weaving intricate wall hangings, and crafting dream catchers. Not content with conventional canvases, Janet also explores the world of decoupage, transforming ordinary boxes and empty food tins into objects of beauty and wonder.

Nature serves as a boundless wellspring of inspiration for Janet's creative endeavors. Utilizing air dry clay, she sculpts intricate pieces that capture the essence of the natural world, infusing her art with a sense of organic beauty and tranquility.

For Janet, art is more than just a hobby—it's a means of self-expression and a gateway to serenity. Through her diverse array of artistic endeavours, she invites others to join her on a journey of exploration and creativity.

Meet Louise Underwood, an unstoppable force of creativity and empowerment!
With her magic touch and a needle and thread, Louise weaves together art and activism, igniting conversations and challenging societal norms.
Whether it's through vibrant tapestries, thought-provoking embroidery, or empowering textile installations, Louise uses her art to celebrate diversity, advocate for gender equality, and inspire change.
She believes that textiles have the power to tell stories, amplify marginalized voices, and create a more inclusive world.

"I am a Newcastle based textile and three-dimensional mixed media artist making unique pieces, working with traditional north east techniques such as hooky and proggy matting, as well as spinning, quilting, patchwork, embroidery, felting, batik along with upholstery and lino print.

A constant maker, I source materials from across the country. I am keen to react against mass production and uniformity.

“I felt called to say thank you for holding space and sharing your wisdom and teachings Dionne. As I entered the room with the other women all strangers, I knew it was going to be magical. It felt so sacred. The vulnerability and the support in tonight’s circle has touched my heart in so many ways.

I could feel my heart cracking open as we sat in council; to have my voice heard truly for the first time without judgement was so profound.”
