  • 1 in 3 young people in the North East are affected by period poverty (According to Children North East (children-ne.org.uk)
  • Currently, 2.8 million people in the UK are struggling to afford period products (about one in five people who menstruate)

What we do

The Rise of She is a Community Interest Company dedicated to ending period poverty across the North East of England. Through our Period Dignity Campaign, we create and distribute essential menstrual care packages to those in need, working closely with local food banks, community centres, and support services..
